David Easton RI was born in Leicester in 1935 and lives and works in Leicester and is married to the artist Shirley Easton. He trained at Leicester College of Art and has a B.Ed from the University of Leicester. David Easton was elected to membership of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour in 1985.
Publications include ‘Watercolour Flowers’, Batsford 1993, and ‘Watercolour Inspirations’ Batsford 1997. He is a tutor on painting holidays and workshops in Britain, France and Portugal and gives talks and appraisals for art clubs and societies.
He exhibits at the RI exhibitions at the Mall Galleries, London, and at the following galleries: Linda Blackstone, Manor House in Chipping Norton, Shell House in Ledbury, and Bircham Contemporary Arts in Holt, Norfolk.
