Sarah Kirby studied Fine Art at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham. She has an MA in Museum and Gallery Studies from City University, London, and an MA in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University.
She works as a self-employed artist/printmaker. She currently lectures part time in artist books as De Montfort University on the BA Design Crafts, and is a part-time tutor in etching and artists books at Nottingham University Continuing Education Department. She is a regular in-house and outreach tutor at Leicester Print Workshop and a freelance workshop leader in Printmaking and Bookbinding. 40 LIES, Poems by John Gallas and linocuts by Sarah Kirby, will be published in 2010 by Carcanet Press.
Sarah Kirby is a member of Leicester Print Workshop and she shows her work in local regional and national exhibitions. Her work can be seen in the following galleries:
