Journeys Festival International comes to Leicester from the 21 August to 03 September with two weeks of creative events taking place across the city. The festival celebrates the talents of exceptional refugee and asylum seeker artists, exploring work that shares the refugee experience.

CANTEEN is the East Midlands largest pop up street food festival to put a unique stamp on the event! As well as globally inspired food to make your tastebuds tingle, Journeys Festival International will bring you some unique entertainment that celebrates refugee and asylum seeker talents and shares their incredible stories.

There is amazing street food in the courtyard from countries/cultures that are directly related to refugee and asylum-seeking communities; plus drinks, live and DJ music, print-making, and food-based performance.
Exhibitors include the three Open 28 exhibition winners, LSA members Jane French, Catherine Headley & Tiffany Tangen on show in the Meeting Rooms.
