Frangipani sits pretty in many an urban Nairobi garden, and spotted along roadside verges. I watched daily with anticipation how a bud would slowly and then suddenly burst open forming the most beautifully scented flower, a delicate blend of white and yellow petals quietly strong amongst the leafy foliage.
