The 122nd Annual Exhibition of the LSA held at the New Walk Museum & Art Gallery contained over 150 pieces of original art. Whilst many works were traditional in approach, contemporary work was also much in evidence, positioning the LSA firmly in the 21st century.

Every member of the Society had the opportunity to exhibit, making the show diverse and stimulating, whilst covering many media from sculpture to paintings, artist’s prints to drawings. The exhibition was opened at an evening preview by the Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Cllr Paul; Westley

The five prizes awarded to individual artists at this exhibition are shown below, and were selected this year by Chris Tkacz, joint owner with his wife Krystyna Tkacz of the Little London Gallery in Derbyshire.
