Project: Living City

Main Image for Project: Living City

Graphic design: Christopher Bent

19 July - 31 August 2008

To complement New Walk Museum’s exhibition ‘Land and Life: the Landscape in Art’, the LSA have produced ‘Leicester: Living City’, focusing on Leicester itself. The exhibition shows how individual artists perceive their city, what captures their imaginations and fires their creative spirits. There are personal reflections on aspects of the city, from universities to multi-cultural life, cafés to parks, industry to worship.

The LSA exhibitions offer an excellent opportunity to purchase artworks with a local theme by professional artists based in the area, with unframed original limited edition prints also on sale in the museum shop throughout the exhibition.
