Danielle Vaughan graduated with a BA in Design & Manufacture from Leicester Polytechnic and then after a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at De Montfort University she taught in schools and colleges.

Danielle has worked full-time as a professional artist since 2014. She creates images from ripped paper recycled from magazines and other found objects. Text finds itself within her images - mostly it is random, but occasionally deliberate.

Danielle is a regular contributor to exhibitions and galleries and runs workshops. Recent awards include the Sparkenhoe Prize in Market Bosworth in June 2014 and the 'People's Choice Award' from Active Arts 2015.
