Speaking to ‘Ceramic Review’ in the March/April 2016 edition (issue 278), Hannah says:

"I now work in a small converted garage at my home in West Sussex, developing new vessels to commission.  Recently, I have begun to embed found shards of the coastal landscape in my pieces. Glass pebbles and rusted iron washers found on beaches and harbours are buried within the works, adding textures and runs of colour to the printed surface. These collected fragments have always been an important part of my practice."
