Over 30 sketchers (beginners and expert) turned out for a sketchcrawl by the new unofficial Urban Sketchers group in Leicester on 30 September 2017.
"The sketchers included many from Leicester but also from outside the county, says organiser Emma Fitzpatrick. "Thankfully the weather mostly behaved but at one drizzly period, we had an enjoyable impromptu show of work and chat in the cafe of the Methodist Church on Bishop St.". Sketchers came to Leicester to draw Town Hall Square and the buildings around the Joe Orton Square in the Cultural Quarter. The next meeting takes place on 11 November - all welcome . . . .read more
