The Harborough Artist Cluster invites you to their Open Studios weekend where you can meet some of their artists and makers. You'll have the opportunity to take a fascinating tour of their studios located around Harborough town centre and its nearby countryside villages. This is a free weekend event with a studio trail to follow, including seven studio locations and the work of 19 artists and makers to enjoy. You can find the Studio Trail Guide in many of Harborough's independent shops and businesses and also download it for free from the website's Events page.

The artists and makers of Harborough Artist Cluster love to meet fellow art enthusiasts to talk about art and share their processes, tips, and techniques. You can buy directly from the artists or even discuss a commission for a special gift or decoration for your home.

Many artists offer cards and prints alongside their original pieces. Others offer tuition and workshops which you may want to join. There is a wide choice available to everyone - and all in the vicinity of Harborough.

This year's Open Studios event takes place over two days and includes 19 artists and makers specializing in every possible discipline. These include ceramics and glass, photography, painting, collage and mixed media, drawing, printmaking textiles, and sculpture. All studios will be open from 10 am to 5 pm, and entry is free.

The group includes several professional artists with national reputations, along with new and emerging artists in the area. The connection between them all is that they live and work in Harborough and the surrounding area - and they are great friends!

If you want to know more about the group, you can visit their new website at harboroughartistscluster.co.uk and find out more on the Events page. You can download a venue map and full details of the Open Studios weekend from there. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code using your phone camera to get there faster. Leaflets are also available in shops and business in the town centre. Take a tour round the town and pick one up!
