Professor Shaw-Miller’s research interests are the history of art and music in the modern period. He is concerned with questions of interdisciplinary methodology, modernism, the concepts of visual music, musical iconography, synaesthesia, musical ekphrasis. He is the author of Eye-Music: Kandinsky, Klee and All that Jazz with F. Guy and M. Tucker.
