John Voss won the LSA George Pickard Prize in the LSA Annual Exhibition in 2017. Talking about the winning painting 'Time and Tide waits for No One', invited judges Jiten Anand and Yasmin Canvin said, "The irony of the slow turtle and speed of time portrays a thought provoking picture, a very strong painting in terms of technique and the story it is portraying."
