Leslie Goodwin was a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, The Royal West of England Academy, The Royal Institute of Painters in Oils, and was a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Leslie Goodwin worked in oils, watercolours, pastels. He exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and his work is in private collections throughout the world, including the royal collection of HM Charles III, and in public collections throughout the country.
Leslie Goodwin broadcast frequently for the BBC and had many articles published on painting techniques. Commissions include a coast to coast touring lecture/exhibition in the USA from California to New York City, and a retrospective exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy.
Leslie Goodwin died in April 2022.
