These visual poems strive to articulate form and colour using found fabric and paper fragments. Remnants, leftovers - seemingly worthless things - are here reworked, elevated. Paint and oil sticks are used in a haphazard manner to make marks. The image is assembled using a ‘cobbled together’ visual language and presented as purely abstract forms, put together for both aesthetic and emotional reasons.
