I am a textile practitioner, interested in exploring the interplay of light and shadow and capturing the sense of rhythm and movement they can represent.
My work is developed from drawing and observation and my own photographs of the landscape coupled with an interest in the natural world.
Colour is also a factor in creating the mood of a piece.
By manipulating the original imagery and using image transfer techniques the pieces evolve and are enhanced by stitch.
