Though mainly working with imagery of a topological and personal nature, my work encompasses all traditional techniques in printmaking, and on a wide variety of subject matter. An enthusiasm for the urban environment, cityscapes, and architecture, creates a clear foundation for much of my work.
After more than thirty four years as a relief printmaker I continue to develop through a personal focus that is resolute and promises to provide us with new insights into the heritage that is our city streets, for many more years to come.
I invite the viewer into my work to explore, to take a journey through the many visual layers involved and to discover something of the moment I experienced, or, to evoke memories of their own.
