I'm an artist working with linocut printmaking. I produce art in response to the beauty I find in everyday life and which hopefully connects with the viewer at an emotional level.

Glen Isla was created following a holiday spent in the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. Inspired by classic Japanese woodblock prints I wanted to capture something of the quiet majesty of the Highland landscape.

The printed image measures 78cm wide x 28cm high and is created using two panels of Japanese vinyl linocut, printed by hand, using a Slama 60 hand press with relief ink onto Heritage 335gsm paper.
