Mick moved to Rutland and joined Leicester Society of Artists in 2022. He has a studio in Langham near Oakham in which he is currently taking part in the Rutland Open Studios.

‘From St Paul’s Cathedral’ is a view from the top of the dome of the Cathedral looking west along Ludgate Hill and Fleet street. As with much of Mick’s work it aims to stay true to the view whilst allowing the brushmarks in some areas of the painting to become very evident and, although still representative, become almost abstract.
