"'This image is one of a series called 'Hospital' which I made in the early days of the first lockdown. I painted from BBC News reports and also from the programme, 'Hospital' which followed the staff and patients of the Royal Free Hospital in London," says Maxine.
"This image of the doctors conducting an operation, but in full PPE was shown as part of a report by Fergus Walsh on BBC News - The concentration and attention to the job in hand can still be seen through the smallest glimpse of their faces - and the vivid colour of the blue gowns and dramatic lighting had something very classical about it".
