The Derby Print Open is an exhibition open to all, showcasing contemporary printmaking from artists based in the United Kingdom.  This year the exhibition spans two venues, the main exhibition taking place at Banks Mill with work spreading into Dubrek Gallery just next door!

A total of 55 printmakers submitted work for this year's exhibition and 153 prints are on show in the exhibition.

LSA member Sue Clegg had four screen prints selected for the exhibition and receives the 'Surface Gallery Award' for Blencathra Dawn.  Her prize is a solo exhibition opportunity in Surface's 'Le Loovre" alternative art space in Nottingham.  Surface is a Nottingham based arts collective based on mutually supportive professional development.

Sue is an artist and educator who creates site specific work, including both urban and rural locations, utilising and combining a range of media in response to the energy of the site. Inspired by her travels primarily within the UK, she records places using a range of media which in turn become prints in both traditional and digital formats.
