Twenty Years is a retrospective exhibition of paintings by Phil Redford from Wednesday 29th March to Saturday 1st April.

Open - 10.30am - 4.30pm

Phil Redford studied at Brighton Art College 1960-66 and retired as senior lecturer from Leeds Metropolitan University after thirty years. He has a forty year exhibition record at home and abroad and has work in public and private collections. Best known recently for his series of hand printed artist’s books based on Wagner’s ‘Ring’ cycle, individual copies or sets of these are in the art library at the V&A; the British Library rare book collection; All Saints, Manchester and Dean Clough, Halifax. Recent painting has explored the combined use of household paint and acrylic in images of the figure or landscape.
