Born 1955, Andrew Jackson studied at Loughborough College of Art & Design and Leicester Polytechnic School of Fine Art. (B.A.Hons. Fine Art).
"Travel inspires many of my works. My pictures hint at stories and encounters, evoking a sense of place"
All works are in pencil on paper, occasionally with other materials: ink, crayon, watercolour, charcoal. Most are large (approximately A1).
Public collections include Leicestershire Museum and Art Gallery, the Leicestershire Collection for Schools and Colleges, and University Hospitals of Leicester.
