Jules Manson is a contemporary visual artist. Working primarily in oils and mixed media Jules creates work rich in emotional dynamism, narrative and symbolism. Her work explores the borderlands between binaries, the mystical and transformative space between polarities whether these spaces be physical or otherwise. Animal/human, male/female, mad/sane. Always, the work is created in a highly expressive style with strong mark making and an emotive pallet.

Coming up on the Leicester queer/club scene and a practicing tattoo artist of 30 years, Jules often references pop culture, queer culture, music and poetry in the work.

She currently lives and works in Cornwall but is strongly connected to the vibrant and unique culture of Leicester.
