Lisa Timmerman was born in Leicester in 1963 and after completing an art foundation course at Loughborough College moved to Bristol to study Fashion & Textiles. After an international career in the commercial fashion industry and three children later she retrained as a painter under the tutelage of Leicester painter Paul Wright. For the past 12 years she has been working from her studio in Foxton near Market Harborough, had 3 solo exhibitions and working towards a fourth.
Lisa has won several awards for her work including the ‘Princess Michael of Kent Award’ 2022 at The Mall Galleries, London.
