This exhibition explores the meaningful moments and experiences in life, the 'Glimmers' that touch our hearts and enrich our lives by evoking feelings of joy, safety, peace, and calm. The focus is on sensory cues that foster connection and positively impact mental health and well-being.
"Our lives are often full to brimming with rich and resourcing moments - yet because of their fleeting nature and our stressful and busy lives they can often pass us by. 'Precious Little' is a play on words pondering on the notion that we may often feel as though we have precious little; yet once we take time to notice, life feels abundant with precious little heartwarming moments.
It seems, to me, a fitting theme for the festive period." Rachel Pinks, Exhibition Curator
Submissions were invited and, from an array of over 130 entries, 43 artists were selected for the show. All works are under 50 cm x 50 cm, available to purchase and priced under £600.
