Portrait of Donald Russell at 98 - oil on canvas
I am a figurative painter. Having taught art to A Level and International Baccalaureate, since completing my MA in 2009 I have worked as an artist full time. I work mostly in oils or pastels from my studio in Lutterworth.
My portrait of the wonderful Latin and Greek ‘Greats’ ‘Professor Donald Russell at 98 was commissioned by St John’s College Oxford and is on display in the Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies, Oxford.
All available works are for sale and they can be purchased directly from me from my online shop and I also undertake a variety of commissions including portraits of adults and children.
Sadly, Mark Hancock died in 2021. His work will be remembered in a future Annual Exhibition.
